Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas

What if I do not recovery fully from a surgery?

I got my hands caught in a conveyor and had very bad trauma to both hands. Right hand midlle and index finger were hurt and the left hand the index findex finger was hurt.

I had surgery on one hand(s). What should I do if I dont recover fully from the surgery?

Were you injured at your place of employment? Are you receiving workers' compensation? There are a number of factors that must be analyzed to determine your rights. Depending upon the circumstances, you may have a cause of action against the manufacturer of the conveyors belt. Our firm handles products liability and medical malpractice cases throughout the State of Texas. Please give me a call ASAP to discuss your case. Thanks.

Failing to "fully recover from surgery" does not in itself give you a medical malpractice claim. Doctors cannot make your body heal. Unless the doctor has been "negligent" in rendering medical services, the doctor would not be liable for the effects of your surgery. What about the facts of the accident itself? Were you on the job at the time? Did your employer carry workers' compensation insurance? Was there some defect in the machine, such as an improper guard (or no guard at all)? All of these questions need to be answered to determine if you have a claim against someone else. Feel free to call me to discuss your case.
