Fingerprinting

Upon being read your rights and signing that you understand them, then immediately requesting a Lawyer, can the Investigating Officers still take your photo and fingerprints?

Re: Fingerprinting

Yes, but they CANNOT ask any questions about the offense. Unfortunately they typically try to "bait" the suspect at various stages. Sometimes that happens when the photo's and prints are being taken -- they seek to take advantage.

ALSO DO not make any statements to friends, co-workers, or supervisors. ALSO BEWARE of pretext phone calls, where they try to get a friend, victim, or co-accused to "interrogate" you. ALSO BEWARE of "new friends" who are suddenly interested in what you are doing -- they might be narcs.
