Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

If I advertise for people to come to my property to hunt wild hogs, what kind of document would I need to have signed by the hunter to say I would not be responsible for accidents? Or is there such a thing that would cover me?

In reality nothing is an absolute protection. But generally courts and juries will respect an all inclusive waiver of liability and assumption of risk.

What you need is a "waiver of liability and an assumption of risk". You may be able to find some forms on the internet, but those may not be the best forms available.

Your best option is to consult with an attorney about this matter.

Good Luck!

Based on what you have written, it appears that you will need a specific waiver of liability with certain aspects covering the people who will be hunting and how they will assume responsibility for their actions.

You should consult with a law firm to assist you with drafting this document to make sure that you protect your rights and interests. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for an initial consultation.
