Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Am I allowed to use dog pepper spray on unleashed dogs as they approach me and my two small dogs at my apartment complex?

You aren't going to make any friends that way.

I assume that YOUR dogs are on leashes.

If you (or your dogs) are attacked, and you're SURE that it's an attack (not just dogs being curious dogs), yes, use the pepper spray.

Myself, I would carry a large walking cane-type stick.
