I was in auto accident on 12-25-09. It was a back in collision and not my fault. I WAS INJURED, HAD KNEE SURGERY. PROBLEMS WITH MY NECK (WHIP LASH) AND LOWER BACK PROBLEMS. I HIRED A LAWYER AND HE IS TALKING WITH THE OTHER PERSON�S INS CO NOW. THEY HAVE OFFERED 30K AND MY LAWYER SAID THAT THEY ARE ONLY PAYING FOR WHAT MY MAJOR MED PAID AND NO PAIN AND SUFFERING AND FUTURE MED EXPENSES IF THEY WERE TO ARRISE BECAUSE OF THE NEW

If $30K in your mind does not compensate you for your injuries, tell your lawyer to decline the offer and make a counter-offer for more money.

Also, you can reject the offer, file a lawsuit, and let a jury decide the value of your case.

Once you settle the case, you cannot request more money for future medical expenses.
