Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Food Allergies and Child endangerment

What liabilities does a child careprovider have if they endanger the life of a child by feeding her with food containing egg products, eventhough the parents asked them to feed her alternative food?

The reason for my question is that my child's daycare provider does not want to accept a letter from her pediatrician which says that because her older brother is allergic to eggs she should not be fed egg contining products until she is at least 3 years old?

My wife is freaking out because they were going to feed her a meal containing eggs yesterday, and I had to take time off work to go pick her up and feed her.

Thank you for your answer to my questions. By the way, where can I find information about food allergies and daycare regulations, incidents and legal resources?

Re: Food Allergies and Child endangerment

Hopefully you do not need to worry about liability and there will be no damage to your child. While the day care may be responsible..and you can imagine a lawsuit takes a long time..so isn't it best to find a different daycare??
