Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was in-a hit and run auto acident few weeks ago.I was on a motorcycle,-driver hit-me and fled.I am transported to local hospital with broken wrist, 2 weeks later had surgery to repair wrist. I get the police report and I see that the car that hit me was found later that night. I also notice they listed their insurance on the report, I call the insurance and they tell me that there's already a claim filed for the accident, it wAs filed the very next day.

should I seek legal advice on getting my bike fixed /Paid for? and seek compensation for my injuries?

Yes- most law firms handling injury cases offer consultations free of cost. Taking advantage of that can help you understand the process and determine if you want to get legal help. The general rule is the more serious the injury the more likely one will need an attorney.

It would be worth at least setting up an initial consultation with a lawyer so they can explain how the claims process (and possibly litigation process) works and what you can expect. You are entitled to recover past and future lost wages, medical expenses, pain and suffering, impairment and disfigurement.

Yes, get a lawyer. Most injury lawyers (myself included) will meet with you and discuss your case for free. Also, many firms will do the property damage portion of your case for free if there is an injury claim. Call me if you would like to discuss this further.
