Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Misrepresentation

Is there recourse against a firm that I feel did not aggressively handle a personal injury suit for me. I do know that the attorney who represented me settled the suit without my prior approval.

Re: Misrepresentation

Generally, an attorney is supposed to have a client's consent before settling a case. Nonetheless, if the settlement amount fell within a reasonable range, then the attorney will argue you weren't really damaged. You should consult with a local attorney in more detail to see whether the settlement was a good one or not and whether you have a claim worth pursuing.
