If you had insurance on the car, call that insurance company...and take papers to them..they are responsible..if you had not insurance, the lawsuit had to be filed within two years of the date of the accident..and you need to write to the Court that the statute of limitations have run..but you really need to call a lawyer and show them what you have..most lawyers, such as our rirm, will review the case free...but if services are needed..expect payment..

Some lawyers do pro bono work. Check with the local bar association in your city to see if you can get some free help.
