Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

My SUV was repoed last night at 11 p.m. I was working with my bank on payments. My financial institution said I am 176 days past due, seems unlikely since I have been making 1/2 of the payments each month. Doesn't the financial institution have to be notified by certified mail if you live in the state of Texas if your car is going to be repossed?

No, they don't have to notify you in advance when they repossess your car.

Read your note and security agreement. It probably says that they can repossess the car even when you're up-to-date on payments - if they feel insecure about payments.

No kidding. That's a standard provision.
