Re: uninsured injury claims

First, it is very important that you make an appointment with an attorney skilled in personal injury cases. Take all your documentation with you, it is always better to have too much than too little.

You always have the option to file a lawsuit against the other driver, but if they didn't have insurance, it would make me wonder if they have anything worth suing them for, but that option must be explored further.

Every accident and the resulting injuries are different, so I encourage you again to see a qualified lawyer & give them all the facts, so that they can evaluate any other possible liable parties.

Your answer may be that the only recovery you have is your uninsured/underinsured coverage, but no one can tell you that until they have all the facts.
