Wrongful death

If a person dies leaving a bar. Who can you sue if the barowner does not have insurance?

It would help to have more facts. How did the person die? Where did the death occur? Was the death the fault of the bar, bartender, or other party? How are you related to the decedent?

You can sue those responsible for negligently causing the person's death. Sometimes, people lie about not having insurance. So if the barowner was a responsible party, you might want to consider suing the barowner despite the claim there is no insurance.
