Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas
Automobile purchase
My son bought a truck from a used car dealer. He has not been able to obtain a title. He financed this car through Capital One and has been paying on it for 18 months. We find that the car is registered to another person and has another lien holder. Capital One had not notified us that they did not have a title until this week.

The used car dealer is on the hook. This is also a criminal matter. See if the used car dealer will refund the money (I doubt it). If not file criminal charges for failure to deliver title.
