What doc's needed to transfer a home to a family member, and what process to follow?
Mother/Step father own home clear and free, and want to xfer to daughter.
All live in same town - Houston, Texas. Harris County
Title and lien search needed?

Title search, and title insurance would be a good idea. Smart to hire a lawyer. Spend a couple thousand now on legal and title fees to avoid headaches later.
