Foreclosure
I have the mortgage on a small house. Total value $20,000 and the balance of the mortgage is only $2000.00. I have received no payment in 2 months. She doesn't answer my letters. She has caller ID and won't answer the phone. Since the amounts are so small is it possible to foreclose without a lawyer?

It is possible in that it is legal, if you follow the requirements of the Texas Property Code. It is not recommended, however, as you could potentially be held liable for damages if you wrongfully foreclose on the property.
