Invasion of Privacy

Wheree you would I find the law on invasion of privacy. I had a niegbor take pictures of my back yard. He wanted picture of my spotlight. In order to take these pictures he would have to look over a 6' fence. Where does the law come in for invasion of privacy? My backyard or back of my house is not visible from anyone's veiw (Public View). A residential homeowner should have some rights under the privacy law regarding an individual veiwing, taking pictures whether camera or videos of someone's private property that is not in public view.
