Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My partner of 28yrs and I have split and I want to turn our house over to him.We are not married,have never put ourselves as married to the public and the house is in both our names.He doesn't want to sell the house,which is fine with me,I just want it out of my name so I can move on.How do I go about it without hiring an atty. or paying more taxes.Thank You in advance, P.S. This is the only thing we own togeather.

First of all: Hire an attorney. If he charges you more than $100 to do a simple deed (deeding over to the other party all of your interest in the real estate), he's a crook.

And that's all you need: One simple real estate document that is signed before a notary and recorded in the deed records.
