I have property that was left to me from my father that pass a way and has no will and my brother that been paying the tax for the past three years can I change the land in my name

First off, if there was no will, then how did your father leave you the property? I ask because if you have siblings, then it's possible that you only inherited a portion of the property and not the whole thing.

As for how to change the title, I'd need to know the following:

1. What was the date of death?

2. Did your father owe any debts?

3. How did he acquire the property? (purchase or inheritance)

4. Was he married when he acquired it?

5. How many children did he have?
