Release of lien on real estate

I sold my house and buyer made payments to me. A lien is on the property until paid in full. It has been paid in full. I need a ''release of lien'' for the buyer. How do I go about that.

Your safest course of action would be to use a title company or real estate lawyer to prepare this for you. If you do it yourself and screw it up, you can make a mess for yourself.

With a copy of the recorded deed of trust any attorney or title company can prepare one for you. Typically i charge $100, so other attorneys or title companies should be comparable.
