Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Release of title

We were buying a vehilcle from friends, we have now paid off the loan with there Credit Union, via our Credit Union, there CU release the title back to them, we are now tryin to get the title back from them and they are refusing to release the title, we have docs showing we paid the note off and now have now title for our CU...Can someone please let me know if this legal.

We have tried everthing and have got nowhere.

Sounds like you will need to sue to get title or your money back.
