Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Special Warranty Deed

I am a Colorado resident, my husband is a Texas resident. We own a house jointly in Texas and are in the process of getting a divorce. He sent me a Special Warranty Deed to fill out so that I will no longer have an interest in the property, so he can sell or refinance at some point without having to contact me at that time. Is a Special Warranty Deed the appropriate form to use for this? Thank you

Re: Special Warranty Deed

A Quitclaim Deed would be more appropriate.
