Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My spouse moved out and claims the money he gave me was for child support and money for the house. If the money was only for child support do I still have to give him half the equity when the divorce is final? If I csn prove that he hasn't paid any money towards the house, will he still be entitled to the equity?

This is far more complicated than that. You need to retain a qualified divorce attorney in your area. He will be able to get more information in an effort to get you a better answer.

Your property has a presumption of community property and it probably is. This needs the attention of a good divorce attorney. Best of Luck
