what happens when texas property (home and lot) was gifted to a me then two years later gifted to another person (my mother has recently passed away and papers were drawn approximately one to two months preceeding her death)

Very important question for you: When the property was "gifted" to you, was there a deed, and WAS IT RECORDED AT THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE?

This makes a huge difference.
