Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Texas Real Estate

My father recently died. My brother and I sold the property. At the bank I asked Mr. Porter when he needed the house cleared out. He said he needed time to get estimates from contractors and several other people. Again I ask for a specific day and he put me off by telling me that he would call me after he figured out what he was going to do with the house. I was going over to the house once a week cleaning out an endless amount of papers that my father had kept. Mr. Porter knew I was doing this because he commited on it later. Apparently he asked my brother if he wanted anything out of the house and he said no. So Mr. Porter had a man haul every thing off. One bedroom which Brandon knew was my stuff that dad was letting me store in that room was mine. Also two trunks full of stuff were in the house and Brandon never said a word. Mr Porter and I never set a date when the stuff needed to be out and now I don't know what to do everything I own is gone and even the things I was going to keep of Dads are gone to.

Re: Texas Real Estate

Sorry. The house became his at the time of closing. You should have cleared everything out by the closing date.
