i was sexually harras 2 years ago, what can i do?

i was sexually harras by my step dad 2 years ago, i was 17 back then and didnt know what to do my mom didnt believe me and still doesnt. i went to a trauma to the point that i slept under my bed, or didnt sleep, wouldnt get home till late so i wont have to see him. i was just a kid n didnt know what to do but know i want to do something how can i start? what can i do? is there anything that can be done? i thought that i had gone over it but i havent. i saw him and he ran towards me and i ran. since then i have panic attacks.

Go immediately to the police and make a formal complaint, providing them with all information you have. After that, you may also be able to sue in civil court for money and other damages.
