Legal Question in Social Security Law in Texas

Ssd

I was deny ssd benefits twice. When speaking to the attorney they stated that I would go before the Judge and have it be decided by the court. Is this the proper procedure or am I setting myself up by doing this. The attorney told me it would take 12-18 months. When speaking to others who have applied for ssd, say they have never heard of a judge making a decision and that it sounds so final. What should I do, talk to another atty.

Re: Ssd

Your csse can be decided by a Social Seurity judge & if denied there you have the right to file a lawsuit in Federal District Court. Good Luck.
