Legal Question in Social Security Law in Texas

Texas Courts on rescheduling court hearings.

TX court and the AG's office keep rescheduling court dates for over a year and has never gotten into court on the reducing child support. Where can it be taken to get some help to get it done? He is desperate. They are taking money from a SSDI personal check and no back pay is due and also sending a check from SSDI to his son for almost $900. TX collecting child support of around $450. from my sons SSDI check TX owes the money. Disability started in June 2005 and child support got back pay for that, TX was charging for all that time also. He is in Dire need. This is more money than my son gets and he has to have another surgery on discs in his neck after a botched surgery over 1 1/2 years ago.

This is about my son and his zip is 16879. Thanks for any info.

Re: Texas Courts on rescheduling court hearings.

You have posted this to a Social Security law section. SSA must comply with the state court support order. From what you posted, it sounds like he needs to have an attorney in Texas who practices in the area of child support not social security.
