Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

I was cited for failure to yield and allegedly almost caused an accident. The officer did not even witness the incident and is going by what another driver is stating. Is this legal?

You need to demand a jury trial in this case.

Yes, a policeman can issue a ticket for an occurrence that he didn't witness.
