Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas

I have an occupational drivers license that only allows me to drive within the state of Texas due to a (DWLI)charge. (Not related to a dui or dwi, or anything alcohol related). I just excepted a job offer in Nebraska, because my current company is going out of business. My suspension period is not up until 7/25/12. However I need to be able to drive myself to Nebraska, and once I get there I'll need to be able to get to and from work. What are my options?

Hire a driver to get you there, and then repost this question using Nebraska as your address to get an answer from a Nebraska lawyer.

One state (say Texas) cannot grant you permission to drive in another state - which is why your occupational license does not permit you to drive outside of Texas.

And, you are in a very difficult position. It is unlikely you will be able to drive because states honor each other's suspensions thus other states will not grant full driving privileges until you are straight with Texas.
