Legal Question in Traffic Law in Texas
running a stop sign
If someone ran a stop sign and I hit them and my sister had to go to the hospital and my vehicle was totaled and it said in the accident report that they ran a stop sign but the cop did not give them a ticket for running a stop sign can I take legal action against the cop.

No you can't.
The cop did his job, and established who was at fault in the accident. Their insurance will now have to compensate you and your sister for your damages. Get a lawyer.
