I believe my brother is contesting my father's will. He filed some papers in court system stating my mother needs compency testing. He signed the papers then wrote after his name ''PRO Sc''. What does that acronym stand for?

It is Latin, "pro se", meaning "for himself". That is, he has no attorney representing him.
