Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

my brother is dying, if he divorced his wife a year before his hospitalization, than am i, as his brother, entitled to his insurance information and inheritance? Or is the information entitled to his children? what is the order of executrices? and what can i do if i suspect his wife of "neglecting" information to his family members? i really need help thank you

As his brother, until he dies or unless he gives you a power of attorney, you are not entitled to anything. Neither is his ex, unless she has a POA over him or owns the life insurance policies on his life. The best thing you can for your brother and his kids, is find a local lawyer to write up to date wills, poa, hcpoa's, etc. before your brother passes and before he is incompetent to execute them.
