After the cardholder's death, do credit card companies have legal right to come after the estate for payment?

There is a set procedure in Texas for unsecured creditor to file a claim against an estate. You should talk to your probate lawyer. IF the right notices were given the credit card companies may be barred by a much shorter limitations period.
