Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

If my children receive an inheritance from me and my residence is in Texas, does that property become jointly owned by their spouses? If yes, is there a way to avoid the property from being jointly owned?

No, inheritance is separate property, unless you specifically do something to make it otherwise. If you keep the property separate, it will stay separate. For example, if you inherit some money, put it in a separate bank account to which your spouse doesn't have access, that remains your separate property.
