Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Contempt of Court

My sister was given gardianship of my fathers estate and required to get a 2500.00 bond, and also hold some assets in safekeeping as well as report to the court 1 year later where she has spent his money. She has not done any of the above. Will the court charge her with contempt? The Judge that handled the case has been made aware of this.

Re: Contempt of Court

If she failed to bond then she did not officially qualify. If so much time has passed, then you can make an application to the court to remove her as guardian for her failure to make bond.
