contesting a will
My father has put my sister as executor over her and my half of his estate. So, I will have no control of my own inheritance. Should I contest the will?
Re: contesting a will
Unless there is some evidence that your sister forced your father to do this unwillingly or you can prove that he did not have capacity to execute the Will, I would advise not contesting the Will. Your father may have had a reason for doing it this way and you will likely have to live with it.
Re: contesting a will
Only if you have proof he was not competent or acted under duress. Executors are required to act under the law...so you may hire your own lawyer to be sure the law is followed..or call the lawyer probating the will..
