If a parent's will names a now-deceased child does any of the parent's estate go to the deceased child's beneficiaries as named in that child's will?

Re: deceased heir

That all depends on when the child died and the contents of the parent's will. Usually, if the child dies before the parent, then the will would provide that the deceased child's share would go to the deceased child's children, or some other alternative. If the deceased child died after the parent, but before the estate had been distributed, then the gift from the parent to the child would be in the child's estate, and subject to the deceased child's will.
