Father died before divorce was final...now MOM is going nuts
my father passed with no will, parents owned business and a little property. my father listed me as beneficiary on bank acct. my mother froze the acct and cancelled all the checks to pay for his funeral. what about the bank acct and what do i do to access the funds to bury my father? do i have any legal right to business or sale proceeds of business that was owned by both parents and is being sold in less than 15 days? do i have any legal right to real estate...and so on and so forth?
