Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Not giving my money to everyone

If I do not want to leave some of my money to one or two of my children, can they contest that? Or should I leave them $1,000 or dollars something. Thank you.

If you think there may be a contest, you should work with a lawyer that takes care of will preparation. So long as the child is mentioned, and a good reason is given why they are only getting $1.00, the will becomes hard to contest.

Leave their name out of the will and they'll take their share as if there wasn't a will.
