Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My grandma passed away and left me and her other grandchildren trust funds. She made her sister in law the executor of the will. We can't touch our trust funds until we reach a certain age. I recently discovered that the accounts were drained of all of the money and leveled as abandoned which leads me to believe that the executor took all the money out, basically stealing it from us, can we get our money back even though she is the executor? If so how? Get a lawyer? Please help.

Yes, if she stole the money, then you would have to sue her to get it back.

You absolutely should get an attorney if there was a serious amount of money in the trusts. Even if you are successful in getting a court to award you the funds, it will do no good if the money has disappeared and the sister has no assets. The sooner you look into this, the better.
