Is there a current Texas Law that states one

cannot reject and inheritance?

There is no Texas law which says you have to accept

an inheritance. Anyone may disclaim a gift or

inheritance and the inheritance is treated as if

the person refusing the inheritance died. I.e. the inheritance

would either go to that persons heirs or to someone

else named under the will.
