Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

If someone passes away and has a will and I was listed in the will but not allowed to hear or see what I was supposed to receive. Wouldn't I have a legal right to at least have a copy of this to make sure I did receive what I was supposed to get??

Yes, you have a right to view the will. Also, once the will is probated, it's public record. You can view it online (in many counties) or in person at the courthouse.

If the will has not been probated, you can petition the court to have the custodian of the will deliver the will to the court clerk.
