Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

if someone passes away and does not have a will or poa who would get the belongings etc. My boss passed and he left behind his daughter and his sister.

If he dies, is unmarried, then his assets pass under the Texas law of intestacy.. Under the facts you provided, everything goes to his daughter
