Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

So here is my situation. Both of my parents past away last year. Neither of them had a will. I have lived in my parents home my entire life so now that they are gone I am still here. I believe my parents estate will go to me and my older brother. Here is my problem. I have no idea where my brother is. I haven't seen or heard from him in months, he is a drug addict that comes and goes. I cannot afford the bills in the house on my own, ( the house is paid off) so I want to sell and move out and get my own place for my family. My question is, what will I have to do when it comes time to start on the paperwork to get this done, being that my brother is missing?

You should file a suit for partition by sale. Get a good probate lawyer to handle this for you.
