step dad is passing
My step dad of 33 yrs is passing. My mother iswooried that his two children are going to sue her. should she be worried?

They may sue her, but they need a basis to maintain the lawsuit. If she's not done anything wrong, the lawsuit would just be a somewhat expensive nuisance.

You can sue anyone for anything. It oesn't mean they will prevail, though. If she's truly worried, she might see about calling a family meeting to discuss her concerns. You can even collectively hire an attorney mediator to assist you all in settling any potential disputes.
