Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

hurt at work, job making me clock out

i work at a shipyard, and i had to have surgery on my elbow and i was out of work for 6 weeks, and everytime i had to go to the doctor, i have to clock out and i dont get paid for it, and they make everydoby do this that has to go to the doctor more than one time, i was wondering if this is a legal or not?
