slip and fall

i had a fall at a facility while i was doing my clinicals for nursing school. the facility was at fault due to not putting up a wet floor sign after mopping. they refused to pay my medical bills so i am looking for an attorney. they told my school if i get an attorney that i will not be allowed on their property. can they legally do this

Re: slip and fall

Amazing how citizens consider "legal" as though one can't do it..but this sounds like retaliation for making a work comp claim and if proven, could get the worker damages...so if you win it Court it is not "legal"...but if you were hurt at work or if the school had you working you probably had a work comp claim. Has their insurer contacted you?how badly were you hurt?
