Legal Question in Criminal Law in Turkey
My husband has been arrested in Turkey and his attorney tells me he cannot tell me what jail he is in. Is this true?

Not true. it's your right. if your husband has been arrested in istanbul city, the jail is Maltepe jail. Because all strangers are in Maltepe cezaevi (jail, in turkish)

The relatives and attorney has a right to know whereabouts of any arrested person.
