Legal Question in Business Law in United Kingdom

grandfather rights

having 42 yrs experience in health & social care and many care qualifications except a degree in management, as an established manager and care home provider I'm now being asked to do nvq4 management & care. Can I claim grandfather rights by virtue of experience?

Re: grandfather rights

I doubt it. I have succesfully managed my own law firm for 12 years and prior to that over 10 years was a partner in three law firms in one of which I did a management course but now am deemed unfit to manage a law firm without undertaking 14 hours of training with a spotty teenager who couldn't manage a smile. It is the way of the world and I think you will have to grin and bear it. For the forseeable future England is awash with box tickers. At some point someone will wake up to the fact that these things are a criminal waste of time and money.
