Legal Question in Family Law in United Kingdom

Hi just need a bit of advice, dont know who to turn to or what to do for the best. I have two children and fell ill with Hyperthyroidism and Graves disease i was really ill and couldn't cope with my children, so they were put in my mother's care, Which i was led to believe was going to be untill i had, had my Thyroid removed. My mother now has a residence order for my children and i have parental resonsibility and shared rights. I t has been an ongoing battle to even get more contact with my children, social services dont want to know as they are no longer involvedand haven't been for some time now but my mother is making things really difficult, she keeps moving contact and cutting contact. any advice would be appriciated, What do the rights that i have mean and do they stand for anything, What can i do to make things better for my children as it's not fair on them, they have went from coming to my house on and saturday and a sunday but not staying overnight, to us seeing each other for a few hours on a sunday with my mother watching.

Regards

You need to apply for a contact or probably a residence order in respect of your children. If you have now recovered it is highly likely that you would succeed as it is well established that it is in children's best interests to be cared for by a natural parent. See
